Manny is a U.S. Army veteran, real estate operator, and business advisor with hands-on experience building, financing, and managing real assets and operating businesses.
After serving in the military, Manny transitioned into banking and enterprise project environments, where he worked in regulated financial and operational roles supporting complex systems, controls, and reporting requirements. That experience shaped his focus on discipline, execution, and decision-quality data – skills that later became critical as he moved into ownership.
Manny went on to build a real estate portfolio spanning short-term, mid-term, and long-term rental assets, managing acquisitions, financing, renovations, operations, and cash flow firsthand. That portfolio and the unconventional path used to build it led to features in Business Insider and BiggerPockets, where his story highlighted practical execution, creative structuring, and disciplined operations rather than speculative investing.
Today, Manny spends time between Texas and Tokyo, operating his businesses remotely while continuing to manage U.S.-based real estate assets. That cross-border, remote-operator perspective heavily influences how Reyna Ventures is structured – systems must be clean, reporting must be reliable, and decisions must be defensible without being physically present.
Manny holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and is ABD in a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), where his research focuses on real-world applications of finance, operations, and asset management. Unlike traditional advisors, his academic work is grounded in ownership, execution, and capital discipline rather than theory.
